Not only do we provide full-scale recycling we also provide Certified Destruction Services. VIM has a Feed Distribution and Manufacturing License with the Illinois Department of Agriculture and manufactures bulk truckload quantities of animal feed blends at our Aurora, Illinois facility. Various ingredients from VIM’s Food manufacturing customers are incorporated in these blends.
VIM also provides finished goods de-packaging destruction services to the human food packaging industries. The packaging is separated, destroyed, and recycled, while the food product is then utilized in VIM’s bulk feed manufacturing processes. Certificates of destruction are issued to VIM’s customers for materials processed at our facilities. All of VIM’s facilities are secure and VIM has multiple measures in place to ensure proper handling of food products we receive for recycling.
